Registration
You can register to become a b-side member by clicking on the Log In or Register link on the top right of any page. Registration is simple and painless, and takes less than a minute:
- On the right hand side of the Login page, enter your email address, a desired username, your zip code, and your desired password. Optionally, you may enter your first and last name.
- Select the checkbox next to 'I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy,' (of course, after you have reviewed them).
- Click register now.
- The final step is to validate your email address. You will receive an email from us with the subject 'b-side registration.' The email will contain a link that you can click on to complete registration.
That's it.
A few notes:
- If you have any trouble clicking on the validation link, you will also find a code in the registration email you received. Simply copy the code and paste it into the validation code section of the validation page, and click validate.
- If you haven't received the validation email after a couple of minutes, please check your junk/spam folder. If our email was marked as spam, please add help@bside.com to your address book to make sure we can reach you in the future.
Anyone can use b-side to discover and buy films. However, registered members receive additional benefits:
- Share your opinions by rating and reviewing films you've seen.
- Receive personalized recommendations of films we think you'll love.
- Create your own list of favorite video clips to share with others.
- Be the first to hear about new releases, free member downloads, and other special events.
No -- anyone who has registered with b-side at IFC or one of our partner film festivals is already signed up for b-side. You can use the same email and password you created when you signed up.
If you forgot your password, go to the login page, and click on the I forgot my password link to reset your password.
B-Side occasionally emails registered users with information on new releases on bside.com or updates on B-Side festival sites the user has visited. Additionally, B-Side users can select to receive or disable more specific notifications by logging in and editing their user profiles at http://www.bside.com/your/edit.
To opt-out of receiving our communications, you can (i) submit your email address in the following form; (ii) send email to remove@bside.com; or (iii) send postal mail to: 815 Brazos Street Suite 300, Austin, TX 78701.
